Flashing a phone to CricKet
is the action of loading a PRL (Preferred Roaming List) file onto a handset so
it can grab signal from another CDMA provider. There are two types of flashes;
A basic flash allows the phone to be used on CricKet for talk and text. A Full
Flash allows the phone to be used on CricKet for talk, text, web, and/or picture
messaging. The Flashing Service does NOT include activation. The flash is only
done to enable the phone to be used on CricKet. Cricket's Activation fees are
separate from flashing the phone to CricKet. You can flash a phone to any CDMA
company but only if the company allows handsets that are not their own. This is
why you don't see many people flashing to Sprint or Verizon, because they wont
activate handsets that are not thCDMA *eirs. We Flash
